Hi Crafty Friends,
t's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak, our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.
Apparently Tuesday (June 25th) was National Catfish Day. Create a card that has some kind of fish or sea life on it
For my card today I decided to play with Karen Burniston's Triple Flip Card die set which will be available in stores in July. Here is a quick video to see my card in action.
To decorate my card I used Alcohol Pearl Inks to add color to the water background and the sand. I used a swiping technique to apply the ink, so I was able to use normal cardstock for this.
The Ocean background on the back panel of this card is from Honey Bee Stamps Ocean Borders Clear stamp set. I white embossed this over the alcohol ink background.
The goldfish and seaweed are from Hero Arts Pet Goldfish Clear Stamp set. I used the sentiments from Hero Arts My Monthly Hero March 2019 Card Kit, white embossing them on each panel.
For the inside of my card I added a few more elements left over from the front of the card and then added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Keep On Swimming Clear Stamp set.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
