Yeehaw!

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce a new challenge hostess which is Rebecca Ednie.

Summers here (in the Northern Hemisphere) and hopefully we can all get outdoors and into nature. So this week let’s use wood grain on your project. Images, embossing, even real wood paper or veneer shapes.

Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

For my card today I pulled out my Art Impressions Cowboy Wiggle Wobble stamp/die set which has been sitting on my desk for over a year.

I created a window card using some older Art Impressions stamps I have had in my stash for years, the barn window, wagon wheel and hay bale.

I used Divinity Designs Weathered Wood Paper Collection for the wood patterned paper background.

I did end up adding the "Happy Birthday" to the front of the card, after I had taken the video.

For the inside of the card I created a Katherine Label Pop-up using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up. I positioned the cowboy on an oval label so that the cowboy's face is visible through the window when the card is closed.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
