Hip Hip Hooray!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I created using stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird.

For the background scene I used the Skating Pond Scene die. As the name suggests the area that I have colored grey in my scene above, is supposed to be a frozen pond. However the fun thing about this die is that with some variation in coloring the different areas within the die you can create other options. I decided to have this be a park with a path in the middle.

I die cut the scene using white cardstock and then blended the ink onto each of the pieces using Catherine Pooler inks. The list of the colors I used are included in my supply list below.

I used the Party Parade stamp set to add all the different characters to my scene.

For the inside of my scene I used the grass die from MFT Stamps Tucked-In Turf - Vertical Die-namics. I again used inks to color the grass area.

I added two more of the characters included in the Hello Bluebird Party Parade stamp set.
