Sending You A Double Measure of Love

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Maryann Einam our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenge.

Being the third Saturday of the month it's time for a sketch challenge.

This week I pulled out the MFT Stamps Sweet Shop stamp set which I have had sitting on my desk for a couple of months. I just love this cute image.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card. I used the small pop-up die included in Karen Burniston's Tree Pop-up die set, lining up the legs of the table on the images with the pop-up die to get the correct positioning.

I added an oval just in front of the table using the Crosshatch - Ovals die set. This gives a place to included a sentiment, plus it looks a little like a mat in front of the table. The birthday sentiment on the 'mat' is from The Ton.

I added the You're Sweet to the bottom portion of the base of the card, die cutting the sentiment from two colors and offsetting.

I added another stamped sentiment to the top base, so it looked a little like a picture hanging on a wall.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
