Divinity Designs - August Release

Hi Crafty Friends,

Being the first of the month it's time for Divinity Designs new release. This month Divinity Design are releasing two lighthouse themed Stamp sets and three new die sets which includes an Accordion Fold with Layers die set.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for my stamps and dies to arrive from the USA, it is taking longer in these times for mail to  get over to me. But as a fellow Design Team Member who lives about 30 minutes away from me get her stamps and dies I was able to get hold on an image of one of the lighthouses being released.

Both my cards today use the Floating Frame Front die set. For my lighthouse card I created the card base from red cardstock using the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layers. I used the Floating Frame Front die to die cut the paper layers and the window from the front of the card.

I used the Shine Bright stamp set for the lighthouse and sentiments used on this card.

As you can see by the photo above, the lighthouse and sentiment are stamped onto a piece of white cardstock which has been die cut using the rectangle die included in the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layers die set, so that the lighthouse can be seen through the window in the front of the card.

For my second card today I used the Birthday Blooms Stamp/Die Duos & the Floating Frames die set.  I stamped and die cut the leaves using various colored inks onto white cardstock, die cut the images using the coordinating dies and then added the cards to the corner of the window opening. I used the Floating Frame Front to create the layer and window on my card. For the card base I used the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layers to die cut the black card.

The paper is Divinity Designs Stoneware paper pad.

I used the Let's Celebrate stamp set with is included in the Divinity Designs July Blessings Box to add the thank you sentiment which can be seen through the window.

Here is a look at the inside of my card. The white rectangle panel was die cut using the rectangle panel included in the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer die set.

I also added another flower which is adhered to the card underneath the flower on the front, so it can't be seen when the card is closed.
