All is Calm

Hi Crafty Friends

Today we are taking a look back at Divinity Designs October Release. For more inspiration using the October Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog.

Today I am featuring two cards I created using the new All Is Calm Stamp/Die Duo set.

For my first card I created an Accordion Card using Divinity Designs Accordion Card with Layers die set. I also used the Vintage Label 2 die set for the labels on this card.

I used the deer head image from the All Is Calm Stamp/Die Duo set to decorate the label on the front of the card.

I wanted to add the Merry Christmas from the stamp set to the front of the card, so I gold embossed it onto red cardstock and then used an oval from the Double Stitched Ovals die set to die cut it. I then position the bottom of the oval to the bottom of the label.

I used papers from the Christmas Collection 2020 and Shine Bring Slimline Sized Paper Pads which are 6 inches x 9 inches.

I gold embossed two more of the sentiments from the stamp set and added them to the two narrow panels of the accordion card.

I used the Joy To The World die set for the sentiment on the large right hand panel. I added the other deer from the stamp/die duo set to the bottom of the panel.

For my second card today I created a Slimline card. I used the Slimline Card Base and Slimline Rounded Window die sets.

In the inner windows I used paper from the Serenity  Snowflakes Slimline Paper Pad.

I stamped two of the deers sitting in branches which I die cut using the coordinating dies and added them to the outer rectangles.

I stamped one of the sentiment from the stamp set to the centre window of the card.

I used the rounded rectangles panels left over from die cutting the Slimline Rounded Window die for the front of the card to decorate the inside of my card.

I added two of the sentiments from the set to the outer rectangles and the deer head to the centre rectangle.
