Catch A Falling Star!

Hi everyone,

I have another Twisted card to share with you today. This one uses another of the Little Darling stamps I purchased last month.

Here is the inside of my card.

Here is a close up view of the left side of the inside of my card. I added the sentiment which I figured worked with the image on the front and a few more stars.

And here is a close up view of the right side of the inside of my card. The pocket holds a gift card and I added a couple more stars on the outer pocket.

Happy Easter

Hello everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week I finish off my turn as challenge hostess with one last challenge

Let's Twist Again like we did last summer! The focus this week is on the word twist ... Create some form of card that has a twist in it, it could be a twisted card, twisted easel card, Twist A Flex Card etc.

This year I have decided to give the BIG kids (adults) in my family iTunes cards for Easter instead of chocolate … ok they may get a little Easter egg with it.  So I decided to create an Easter themed Twisted Card for the challenge today using MFT Stamps Doodle Garden Hunny Bunny.

Along the bottom of my card I added grass using the Die-namics Grassy Edges die and added some tiny eggs which were created using LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements set. I white embossed the sentiment which is from LJD Embellished Eggs onto a piece of Blu Raspberry card which was cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX .

The base of my card uses Tangy Orange card.

Here is the inside of my card.

On the left side of the inside I stamped the Easter sentiment from LJD Embellished Eggs using black licorice ink. I also added two of the eggs also from the LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements set which have been stamped using Blu Raspberry Ink and Lemon Drop Ink.

And finally the right side of the inside of my card … I added a chick also created using the LJD Embellished Eggs and Die-namics LJD Easter Elements sets and Lemon Drop Ink.

I added a gift card to the pocket! Oh and for the observant ones … no that isn’t an iTunes card but this one match my colors better for the photos .

I have yet another Twisted Card to share with you all today, these seem to be a regular Friday thing lately here on my blog because the last 4 of the past 5 weeks have been Twisted cards hehe, wasn’t done that way on purpose just how it turned out LOL!

A couple of weeks ago it was my turn to do a project with a group of friends who get together each month, so this time round I showed them how to make the Twisted cards which are perfect for gift cards with Christmas just around the corner. We used my friends stamps to decorate our cards.

MFTeasers Day 3

Hi everyone,

Welcome to day 3 of the MFTeasers in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 16th October.

Today the Design Team are featuring two of the new stamp sets that will be released, these are Clearly Sentimental About Coffee and Seasonal Sentiments (which will be October’s Triple Scoop set).

For my first card today I have used the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set and created another twisted card … I am loving these twisted cards and with Christmas just around the corner these are perfect to use for gift cards.

The card uses Sweet Tooth and Red Hot cardstock to create my card. I used the Die-namics Designer Labels STAX 4 for the sentiment. The bow on the left side of the sentiment was created using the Die-namics Beautiful Bows set …. I am loving this new die-namics.

Here is the inside of my card. I added another of the Seasonal Sentiments to the left side of my card and the ‘To’ and ‘From’ to the lower portion on the right hand side. I also added the new Die-namics Framing Flourishes underneath the sentiment.

For my second card today I created a Clean and Simple card using the Clearly Sentimental About Coffee stamp set. I used Sweet Tooth card stock for the base of my card. I wanted to play around with some washi tape I recently purchased, this is my first time using washi tape. On the upper right hand side of the card I added a bow using the new Die-namics Beautiful Bows die, on the centre of the bow I added a Red Hot Button.



Here is the inside of my card. I added some more washi tape at the upper corner of my card and another of the sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental About Coffee.

It’s challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog, this time round it is Birgit Edblom’s turn to host the challenge.

Birgit has challenged us to "Brighten up your Life" Use something that brighten up your life on your card/project! It can be a candle, a sentiment/quote, colors, people etc., everything that brighten up your life!

For my card today I created another Twisted Card, these are so much fun! I used Alota Rubber Stamps Bug Candle.
