New Home!

CCEE1213 House wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our March challenge hostess Joanne Grzelak finishes off the month with another fun challenge!

Our challenge is to create a New Home/Apartment Card.

As you can see I didn’t make a card but decided to use another of the Jenigami Slice Form SVG files I purchased from Jenni Bean Crafts. I had such fun creating this project.

After cutting my pieces using my Sizzix Eclips I embossed the outside walls using the Couture Creations Fretboard Embossing Folder. I also created some windows to add over the window openings, and added green card along the base so it looked like grass.

To cover the New Home part of the challenge I added the “New Home” sentiment from Waltzing Mouse Stamps onto MFT Die-namics Mini Pennant Die & Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennants Die.

I also used MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops Border die to add the shingles to the roof.

Here is a view of my house from the back.

And finally one last picture of my house project, this time folded down flat so it can be mailed.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Oh my, I can just bet you had fun. I love 3D projects like this. All the details make your cabin in the woods so delightful.

Oh, Frances...this is awesome. I love your house. Looks like a cozy get-away cabin in the woods. Great details.

My gosh, I thought, in your last phtoto, a tornado had hit. That's just about what a house looks like in their aftermath, ony worse). But, how great it folds for mailing.

Super job on the CCEE challenge.
