Happy Mother’s Day!

Hi everyone,

Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. Mother’s Day is coming up shortly so I decided to create a special card that can be giving to Mum on Mother’s Day. Flowers are always a popular gift to give Mum’s on this special day so that is what I did for my card, a flower pot card. You can find a tutorial on how to create these over on the resource section of Splitcoast Stampers.

The flowers were created using the Die-namics Botanical Beauty die. I also added some leaves which were created using the new Die-namics Regal Leaves die. For the sentiment on the outside of my flower pot I used one of the dies from the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax.

Both sentiments are from the Clearly Sentimental about Mothers stamp set. I also added some Grosgrain Ribbon Orange Fizz around the top of my flower pot.
