Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our hostess for July Lois Bak, continues with the challenges.
Lois has challenged us with a Technique challenge this week, which is Reverse masking.
I acquired another owl stamp recently which I just had to play with, this one is from Whimsy Stamps. For the reverse masking part of the challenge I stamped the owl onto white card and then used my MFT Die-namics Circle Stax 1 & 2 to cut out my layers. I then created a small reverse mask of a circle which I placed behind the owl (which was also masked) and used my copic air brush to create the moon. I then masked my moon and used another reverse mask of a circle to airbrush the blue around the owl for the sky.
I also added the Snowflake border along the bottom of my card.
Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the owl again and added a sentiment.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

What a delightful card, Frances. Love that border punch!
Oh - so sweet!! Love the simple line-art image on the inside, but the masking and colouring on the outside makes a darling scene.
