Hello, Cupcake!

CIC169 Cupcake wm

Hi everyone,

MFT Stamps  is sponsoring Cupcake Inspirations for a challenge this week. For our inspiration we were given this yummy picture of cupcakes.

Don’t all those cupcakes look yummy, so yummy you might even want to take some … which is what my little PI girl on my card is doing hehe. I took my inspiration from the colors in the picture, the cupcakes and the roses.

For my card I used MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Hello Cupcake stamp set, she is stamped and layered using the Die-namics Rounded Banner Stax. I paper pieced her dress and the cupcake paper. I have also used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX for the panel under the main image as well as for the sentiment in the top right hand corner of my card.

For the roses I used the Die-namics MINI Rolled Roses and added some greenery using Die-namics Leafy Flourish.

Here is the inside of my card, this paper reminded me of the roses on the inspiration photo and of course I added the sentiment from the Pure Innocence Hello Cupcake stamp set. For the sentiment I used the Die-namics Oval STAX Set 2 and the Designer Labels 3 Stax.

Stamps: Pure Innocence Hello Cupcake – MFT Stamps
Paper: White; Brown; Pink; The Lake House DP – Kaisercraft
Die-namics: Fish Tail Flags; Rounded Banner Stax; Oval Stax 2; Designer Labels Stax 3; Leafy Flourish; Mini Royal Roses – MFT Stamps
Other: Black Ink; Button; Twine; Foam Tape; Copics
