Hi everyone,
I have another MFTeaser to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 13th November.
Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range which are being released. The stamp sets being released this month include: Pure Innocence Little Santa; Pure Innocence Elf Girl and Pure Innocence Angel.
For my first card today I have used the Pure Innocence Angel stamp set. I wanted my Angel to appear like she is on the clouds so I used the Die-namics Jumbo Cloud STAX and Sweet Tooth Felt to create the clouds surrounding her. I paper pieced the Angels dress using designer paper.
Underneath the Angel I added a bow using the new Die-namics Dainty Bow set, I added a Nightshift Blue button to the top of the bow.
The Sentiment underneath the bow was created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX , I stamped the sentiment first, positioned my Fishtail Flags Die-namics and die cut it and then put the sentiment back in after turning it around the opposite end to get the fishtail point at both ends. At the top corners I added the Die-namics Medium Fancy Flourish using Nightshift Blue cardstock. I added a tiny bell to each flourish as it reminded me of the sentiment about an Angel getting it’s wings when a bell rings hehe.
Here is the inside of my card I used the Die-namics Jumbo Snowflake from Nightshift Blue cardstock for the base of my sentiment. I then layered the sentiment using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX .
Stamps: Pure Innocence Angel – MFT Stamps |
Paper: Nightshift Blue – MFT Stamps; White; Blue; Winter Wonderland DP – My Mind’s Eye |
Die-namics: Jumbo Cloud Stax; Fishtail Flags Layers Stax; Medium Fancy Flourish; Jumbo Snowflake; Dainty Bows – MFT Stamps |
Other MFT Products: Nightshift Blue Button; Sweet Tooth Felt |
Other: Black Ink; Foam Tape; Copics |
For my second card today I created a Christmas scene using the Pure Innocence Little Santa isn’t he a cutie!!!!
This is similar to the scene I created the other day in that it uses the Die-namics Snow Drifts and Die-namics Santa’s Sleigh, but it is a different size and colors. After making that first card I thought the sleigh would look good with the PI Little Santa. Again I used the Die-namics Christmas Ornaments for the holly leaves. I also used the Die-namics Let It Snowflake set. The sentiment is stamped using MFT Stamps Wild Cherry Ink Pad onto Jellybean Green cardstock. I have also used Wild Cherry cardstock for the layers on the card and the sleigh.
Here is the inside of my card. I stamped the sentiment onto Sweet Tooth cardstock using MFT Stamps new Jellybean Green Ink Pad.
I used the Die-namics Snow Drifts again this time to create the curve in my designer paper at the bottom of my card. I also added a snowflake from the Die-namics Let It Snowflake set.
