It’s A Good Day …. MFTeaser Day 4

Hi everyone,

Welcome to day 4 of the MFTeasers in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this month. The new products will be available on Tuesday 7th May at 10 PM in the MFT Boutique.

Of course being Saturday it is also challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being the start of a new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Barbara Anders.

Barb has given us a Color Challenge this week using the colors Light Pink; Kraft; Cream and Black.

For my card today have used MFT Stamps new Chalkboard Greetings stamp set which will be the new Triple Scoop stamp set for May.

To create my card I used the Die-namics Vertical Frames and die cut it using Kraft cardstock and Black Licorice cardstock. On the black panel I stamped one of the sentiments from the Chalkboard Greetings stamp set using Versamark Ink and then covered it with white embossing powder.

For the background of my card I used the Die-namics Chicken Wire which I die cut twice from Smooth White cardstock. I cut the border off the top edge of one of the chicken wire panels and adhered it to the Pink Lemonade cardstock. I then cut off part of the second chicken wire panel and joined the two together by overlapping one section. This panel was then layered onto a Kraft cardstock folded card.

On the lower left hand corner of my card I added a Pink Lemonade Button and Hemp Cord.

On the inside of my card I added another of the sentiments from the Chalkboard Greetings stamp set to the top portion of my card. I added the Die-namics Chicken Wire to the lower section of my card. I also added one of the borders from the Die-namics Dotted Scallop Border Trio set.
