Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. As it is a brand new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Vicky Gould.
Apparently today is Vicky’s son-in-law’s birthday, so she has challenge us to make a masculine birthday card! Use brown, tan and green.
If you follow my blog, then you know that for the past couple of weeks I have been playing with the new Karen Burniston Pop N Cuts dies from Sizzix. I have been having so much fun and today I am using one of my favorites from Karen’s Journey collection …. the chair pop n cuts insert.
I die cut the chair pop n cuts using the original Pop N Cuts base die from brown card and then I die cut the floor, walls and chair again using various designer papers to decorate my card. I also used the Sizzix Foyer Set Embossing Folder also designed by Karen to decorate my ‘pop up room’. Finishing it off with various stamps I found in my stash. Of course I had to put an owl in the photo frame ha ha!
I think I might save this for my DH’s birthday which is coming up next month.
Here is the front of my card … I added a birthday sentiment (MFT) and used the Sizzix Funky Labels Framelits.
Here is one last view of the inside of my card.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

What a cute card - this scene is adorable!! The pop-up chair is darling!!
What a fab pop-up. The mustaches just made me laugh!!
A fabulous card.
As soon as I saw even the first bit of this card as I scrolled down the page I knew it just had to be yours. What a sweet scene - down to the little owl picture on the wall, and man's best friend by the chair.
this is fabulous...love that chair pop up feature
LOVE THIS! The mustache patterned "fabric" is awesome, and I love the owl in the picture frame. A stunner!
