Hi everyone,
It’s time for our May Karen Burniston Designer Challenge, this time round for our theme Karen has asked us to create was Christmas in July - (or Hanukkah, or Kwanza).
For my card today I used the new Evergreen Pivot Card … love this new die which has soooo many options which I can hardly wait to explore.
To decorate the inside of my card I have also used the Outdoor Edges die set and the snowflakes from the Circle Spiral Pull Card.
The stamp set used here is a Penny Black set called Mimi & Friends.
Here is a close up of the left side of my card. The snow (Outdoor Edges) and snowflakes (Circle Spiral Pull Card) were created by applying Double Sided Adhesive to white card before die cutting and then applying Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to them.
Here is a close up of the right side of my card. I also added clear glitter dots to the centre of each of the snowflakes.
Here is the front of my card. For the greeting I used one of the labels from the Lucy Label Pop Up Card die set. I covered the fold of the card using pink card which was embossed using the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder.
Here is a look at the back of my card … you can see the two smaller trees peeking out.
Here is one last look at my card this time taken so you can see both the front and back of my card.
If you are looking to purchase Karen’s Pop It Ups dies in Australia you can find them at Photo Continental.
Don’t forget to check out the Elizabeth Crafts Designs blog on Wednesday when you will be able to see what all the designers created for the challenge this month. I will also be back tomorrow with another card to share with you for this challenge.
