Today I am sharing one of the new dies being released by Elizabeth Craft Designs. This time round the release will include dies designed by Els van de Burgt Studio.

I am pretty excited about this release and what Els has designed for us to create with, there are a number of dies that I have been hoping for for some time.

One of those things I am excited about is the release of three background dies. For my cards today I have used the Chevron Background. 

I decided that I wanted to die cut the background from 4 different colors of card and then piece back all the chevrons into the card. This enabled me to be able to create 4 cards.

After creating all the backgrounds I then added the A Way with Words - Thanks sentiment which I die cut from white card and added to the lower right hand side of the card.

I layered the background panel onto a layer which was created using the largest die from the new Postage Stamp Rectangles die set. I then layered this onto a folded white card.

Paper: White Soft Finish Cardstock; Silver; Light Blue; Blue; Dark Blue
