Let It Go

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Raquel Mason our challenge hostess for the month finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Raquel tells us that ..... Today is her son’s birthday!  Make a birthday card for someone you love.

For my card today I decided to get a head start on my Granddaughter's birthday card. As she will be 4 in just over a month, she loves Elsa from the movie Frozen ... I don't think there are too many girls around that age that don't right!

Anyway last year I discovered this cute digital stamp from Sassy Studio Designs called Let it Go Sassy and I have finally gotten around to playing with the image.

I created a Pull Card using the Rectangle Pull Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I made this one a wide card by using the full length of an A4 card and cutting the height at 15cm. 

To decorate the edges of the card I used a die from Memory Box which I covered with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.

I die cut the number "4"; A Way with Words Happy Birthday 2; A Way with Words Let it Snow and A Way with Words Get Well Soon from white cardstock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the front and then covered the adhesive with Dark Mint Silk Microfine Glitter.

I used the "Let It" from the Let It Snow die set and the "G" and "o" from the Get Well Soon die set and combined the two to create "Go" so I could create the sentiment "Let It Go".

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment to a panel on the fold of the card added two snowflakes.
