Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess Lois finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Lois tells us that ..... Summer is over. Let’s make a Christmas and/or Winter card.

Of course where I live down here in Australia, Summer isn't over, it is approaching! We are in our first month of spring which is almost over. As I still need to make Christmas card it was easy to decide to create a Christmas card for this week's challenge.

As you can see I created a Twist Circle Card using the die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

To decorate the inside of my card I used the Candles die on the centre circle die cutting the candle part using white card that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front and then covering the adhesive with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.

On both side edges I added the holly border from the new Holiday Garlands 1 die set and added Red/Silver Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers to the berry part of the border.

I added the "Merry" and "Christmas" using the A Way with Words Merry Christmas die set which I added to the top left hand and bottom right hand side of the card.

On the other edges I added more holly leaves and berries which are all from the Candles die set.

Here you can see my card as it is closing, you can see how the centre circle turns towards the right as it closes flat.

And finally the front of my card. I used the new Entwined Ovals which I die cut twice from gold cardstock and off set one of the ovals slightly over the other. I also cut one from white, only using the centre part so that the A Way with Words - Dec 25 showed up on my card.

I also added another Holly border from the Holiday Garlands 1 die set where the cardstock and designer paper joins. Adding more of the Red/Gold Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers.
