Happy 8th Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have another birthday card to share with you, that I created recently.

For my card today, I have pulled out stamps and dies from both Taylored Expressions and La-La Land Crafts.

First up, to created the background I used Taylored Expressions Backstory - Birthday Background stamp which I stamped and white embossed onto white cardstock. I then used Catherine Pooler inks in Rockin' Red, Sauna and All That Jazz to create a rainbow background. I die cut the panel using Simon Says Stamps Wonky Rectangle die set and adhered it to a top folding white card base.

I added two balloons which were die cut using the balloon die set from La-La Land Crafts August Card kit. The balloons were die cut using dark pink and yellow cardstock. I then added the 8 using the Number Balloon die set also from the August Card kit. The "th" is from Karen Burniston Numbers die set.

I die cut the Happy Present from Aqua cardstock and then layered Orange cardstock behind the letters. This replicates all the colors used in the background panel.

I added the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment which is from MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Sentiments and was die cut using Taylored Expressions Simple Strips die.

For the inside of the card, I added three balloons using the balloon die used on the front of the card. I stamped sentiments from the Birthday Present Marci and From All Of Us stamp sets which were both included in the La-La Land Crafts August Card kit.
