Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing another card using Divinity Designs Blessing Box which is their new quarterly subscription kit which is available to order now on the Divinity Designs website.
For my card today I used the Fill My Heart Clear Stamp set and the Shaker Heart Frame die set. These two sets coordinate together, but of course you can also use them on their own. Of course as the name suggests the Shaker Heart Frame is ideal to use to create Shaker cards, however as I was still waiting for the "shaker bits" included in the kit arrived to me down here in Australia, I used it in a different way for this card.
To create my card I started by die cutting a white rectangle panel using the second largest rectangle included in the Double Stitched Rectangles die set. I then used the "Valentine's" sentiment from the stamp set to stamp my background panel and then blended ink to the edges of the rectangle using the same colored ink.
I stamped the large patterned heart also from the Fill My Heart Clear Stamp set onto white cardstock and die cut it using the solid heart included in the Shaker Heart Frame die set. I then die cut the Heart frame from the same die set and adhered it over the die cut heart.
I layered the heart to the background panel and then onto the folded card.
To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment from the Fill My Heart Clear stamp set onto black cardstock and embossed using white embossing powder. I then die cut the sentiment using the Sentiments Strips die set.
I kept the inside of the card fairly simple. I die cut the frame from the Shaker Heart Frame die set and adhered that to the centre of the card. I then used the inner heart left over from the frame I created for the front of the card and added it to the centre. I stamped another of the sentiments included in the Fill My Heart stamp set.
