Tree-Mendous Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing the last of the Postal Collage Christmas cards, I have shared recently. Again this card uses products from Waffle Flower Crafts and Spellbinders. This is another 5 x 7 card, which I prefer over A2 sized cards.

The Postage Collage stencil used here is called Vertical Tree and is another from Waffle Flower Crafts. After stencilling the tree, I splattered over the whole image using white paint for a snowy look.

For the background I used Spellbinders Starry Snowfall 3D Embossing Folder, apply white pigment ink to the raised areas after embossing.

To finish off the front of the card I added an older sentiment from Made To Surprise.

For the inside of my card I added a panel of embossed card to the bottom of the card.

I also added a Christmas sentiment and postage cancellation images which are all from Made to Surprise.

 

Penguinning To Look Like Christmas

Today I am sharing a fun Christmas card I created recently. This card is a Swing Box Card which is 5 x 7 in size. I used a tutorial by Sam Calcott, which you can find here.

To decorate my card, I used Spellbinders Festive Friends die set which was the Small Die of the month for October 2024. I had spent about a week looking for this die set in my stash, so when I finally located it I decided I had to use it again LOL!

For the bears jumper, I used Spellbinders Sweater Weather Embossing Folder, adding white ink over the top once I had embossed it.

For the snowy background, I used Spellbinders Snowfall Shimmer Betterpress Plate, using my die cutting machine to emboss it rather than Betterpress it.

I used an older Mama Elephant sentiment for the sentiment on this card.

Here is a look at the back of my card. I added two foiled sentiments using the Merry & Bright Sentiment Strips Betterpress Plate and added another of the cute penguins.

For my card, I used the new Playful Pop-up die set along with the Dog and Cat Playful Add-ons die set. I just love that adorable puppy! 

This die set can be used on a standard A2 card, but I prefer bigger sizes, so I created a 5 x 7 card.

To decorate my card I added used the new Woof! die set and Dog Borders to add the dog bowls complete with food and bones.

As the focus of this card is on the inside, I kept the front of my card fairly simple. I added the two patterned papers I used on the inside to the front of the card. I then added the bone border along the edge that the two papers meet.

I used the new Dog Sentiments and the Greetings Labels die set to add the birthday sentiment. To finish off the card, I added the two paw prints which are from the Woof! die set.

Welcome to my blog. Today I have 4 more Christmas cards to share with you. As you can see, these ones are Arch shaped.

I used Spellbinders October Betterpress Society Plate to create this card which is called Twinkling Tidings. It includes the Betterpress Plate and a coordinating stencil. 

I added foiled sentiments to the cards using the positive and negative images. These are older Pinkfresh Studio plates..

I kept the inside simple, adding a sentiment using red ink.

 

Pine Cone Christmas

Today I am sharing a Christmas card I created using a couple of the new dies by Karen Burniston, these will be available for preorder on Monday 24th November.

I don't normally use Kraft card much in my cardmaking, but I decided I wanted to use it for my card today. For this card I used the new Pine Cone die set as well as the Greeting Labels die set. 

For the other layers on the front of the card, I used the Rectangles & Labels Crosshatch die set. 

The sentiment is from the Season of Cheer Clear Stamp set.

For the inside of my card, I pulled out the Katherine Label Pop up die set and the Christmas Wishes Clear Stamp set.

 

Sending Smiles with Every Step

Today I am sharing a Slimline Card I created using Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of the Month for November 2025.

For the Slimline Card base I used an older Spellbinders die set called Hemstitch Slimline. I used an older stencil to add the clouds and grass area to the white panel. 

For the inside of the card, I added more grass along the bottom edge. I added another of the cute girls to the right hand side of the card and a sentiment.

 

Charmed To Know You

Today I am sharing a fun 5 x 7 girly themed card using some of the products from Spellbinders November Club Kits. This was a fun card to make.

Most of the products used on this card is from the Large Die of the Month, this set includes the die to cut the bag shape, the bag parts and all the charms except for the pig, which was the freebie Caboodle set for November. 

I used the Petite Tuft 3D Embossing Folder to add the texture to the purse.

I wanted to use a sentiment stamp from Darcies, but when I went looking for it, it was missing. So I printed it on my computer. The good news later that night I found it on the floor, but as the card was done I didn’t replace it for this card.

Red & Green Merry Christmas

Today I am sharing four more Christmas cards I created recently using stencils & foil plates.

These cards were created using Spellbinders Baubles & Festive Background Stencil which was the Stencil of the Month for October 2024. I used red & green inks for the baubles and then used a gold texture paste for the hanger.

I used Waffle Flower Crafts Merry Christmas Duo & it’s coordinating foil plate for the sentiment for the two cards above.

For this card, I used a Spellbinders sentiment which is the negative image of my foiled sentiment.

When I was adding the gold texture paste, I got some where I didn’t want it. As I didn’t want to waste the panel, I cut the layers smaller for this one,

For the inside of my card I stamped a Christmas sentiment from Divinity Designs using Metallic Gold ink.

Christmas Favorites

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing another Christmas themed Floating Cube Fold Card using a tutorial by Sam Calcott, which you can find here.

This card folds down to 5 x 7 if you do the single row of cubes like I have for my card, or 7 x 7 if you have a row of cubes on each side of the white panel.

To decorate my card, I used Hero Arts Best Gift Ever Collection, which includes Press Plates, stencils and dies to create the presents. Rather than use the Betterpress, I used gold glimmer foil on all the bows & sentiments.

Here is a look at the back of my card, I added another sentiment and two more presents. Both sentiments used on this card are the negative image using the leftover foil after foiling the original.

Sweet Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Gingerbread themed Christmas card using papers from Spellbinders / Stamperia Candy Christmas Collection. This was a nice quick card as it mainly uses papers or stickers from the collection.

I added the gingerbread house paper to the right side of my card. I then used a fishtail banner die to die cut the waffle paper on the left. 

For the inside of the card, I added a gingerbread themed sentiment and also the gingerbread tree sticker.
