Poppy Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two 5 x 7 birthday cards using Spellbinders Poppy Background Betterpress Plate.

I used the Betterpress plate to black foil the image. I then used the coordinating stencils to add colour to the poppies. For this card I used red inks to get the red poppies.

I added a die cut sentiment which is from Papertrey Ink.

This card is done the same as the one above, however I added the inks with a lighter hand and without reinking to get the pink poppies.

I used the Woven 3D Enbossing Folder to add the texture to the base of my card.

For the inside of my card I used Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday Sentiment set to add the birthday greeting.

Black & White Birthday Wishes

iHi Crafty Friends,

Last week I shared two cards I created using a foiled Betterpress image. For my card today I am using the same image, but this image is the negative image that you can get by using the left over used foil and a solid plate.

This Betterpress plate is called Sweet Memories and was one of the monthly plates from the Betterpress Society.

For my card I created a Trifold card using the 5 x 7 Trifold Showstopper die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

Here is a look at the back of the card. I added a sentiment onto the white panel.

Just Because

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing an arched shaped card using a Betterpress plate from Spellbinders.

For this card I used the Daisy Trio Betterpress plate that I foiled using black foil. I used the Essential Arches die set to create the Arch shaped card.

For the inside of my card, I used another Betterpress plate, again foiling with black foil.

Day In Full Bloom

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a foiled Trifold Card using products from Spellbinders.

For the front of the card I used Spellbinders Friendship Grows Betterpress set which was the Betterpress Society set from November 2025. I used the included border die to cut the border along the floral image on the right side of the panel. I used black foil on the floral image.

I used the Shady Leaves 3D Embossing Folder on the orange panel, adding white ink to the raised areas.

For the middle panel I added the sentiment using an older sentiment from Made To Surprise. The oval layers uses the Essential Stylish Ovals die set.

Bouquet of Hugs

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two shaped cards using products from Spellbinders and Chloe’s Creative Cards.

For the shape portion of the card I used Chloe’s Creative Cards Gilded Rectangles die set. Everything else on these cards uses Spellbinders products.

The flower image is a Betterpress Plate called Sweet Memories, which was a Betterpress Society set. I used black foil to foil the image.

I used Yana’s Tulips Bouquet of Hugs Betterpress set for the sentiment. For the background I used the Petite Bows 3D Embossing Folder.

For the inside of my card, I used an older stamp from my stash .

Day In Full Bloom

Hi Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I am sharing a Trifold Building Block Card using products from Spellbinders February All Clubs Crate.

For the image on the front (left) of the card, I used the Press & Foil Club Kit ... From Ink to Petal. Normally this kit comes with a roll of foil, but this month we received a stencil so we could do the stencil portion of the image,

I opted to foil my plate using the pink foil included in the Satin Pastels Glimmer Foil pack. I love how the glimmered portion of the image is pink the same as the stencilled tulips.

The sentiment is also included in the kit, and for this I used white foil as the pink wasn't as visible as the white.

For all the pink panels on this card I used the 3D Embossing Folder ... Shady Leaves.

Here is a look at the card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

Arched Lights

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I have 4 more Christmas cards to share with you. As you can see, these ones are Arch shaped.

I used Spellbinders October Betterpress Society Plate to create this card which is called Twinkling Tidings. It includes the Betterpress Plate and a coordinating stencil.

I added foiled sentiments to the cards using the positive and negative images. These are older Pinkfresh Studio plates..

I kept the inside simple, adding a sentiment using red ink.

Here For The Presents

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a Christmas themed Shaker Card to share with you using products from Hero Arts Best Gift Ever Collection.

Using the stencil in this collection I stencilled 6 different panels in each of the colours used for the presents which you can see in the card above. I have lots of presents left over to make more cards using this collection.

Once I had the stencilled presents, I pulled out my glimmer machine and the Press Plate/Glimmer plate and gold foiled all the bows over the presents, this was pretty easy to line up.

I then used the coordinating die to die cut all the presents, which gave me a number of frames I could stack up to form my shaker well for my card.

I added the shaker elements to the shaker portion of the card and then added another frame to. which I had cover the back with acetate.

To finish the front of the card I used a sentiment from the coordinating Press Plate Sentiment set. I used the negative image for this particular card.

For the inside of the card, I added another sentiment from the Press Plate/Glimmer Sentiment set. I also added a Merry Cristhmas Betterpress image from Spellbinders under the sentiment. Both sentiments are also the negative image.

To finish off the inside, I added one of the extra presents I have in my stash for other cards.

Three Magi Bridge Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I am sharing a Christmas card using Spellbinders The Three Magi Die set. For this card I created a Bridge Card, I have had this idea for this set for a while, and finally found some time to get the card made.

I started with a piece of Spellbinders Cosmic Sky cardstock that measures 8 inches x 4 3/4 inches. I then scored along the 8 inch side at 1 1/4 inches and 2 1/2 inches on each side. I added patterned paper to each of the five sections, splatting them all. with gold ink to resemble stars.

I used a Slimline Hillside Border die to die cut the kraft panel which the Magi are standing on. I attached this to the base of my card to be the "bridge" of the card.

I assembled the Magi images using various colours of cardstock and attached them to the "bridge"

I added a gold foiled sentiment under the Magi using a sentiment from Spellbinders Merry & Bright Sentiment Strip Betterpress Plate.

To finish off the front of the card, I die cut the stars included in the set twice from gold mirror cardstock and adhered them to the card.

I added a white panel to the back of my card, adhering more stars to the top of the panel. I then added a stamped sentiment from the coordinating stamp set to the panel.

At Christmas Time

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Slimline card with you.

For my card I used Pinkfresh Studio's Lantern Landscapes die set along with the coordinating Lantern Landscape Snowy Cottage stencil.

For the background of my card I used the Branches 3D Embossing Folder by Simon Hurley/Spellbinders.

I used a sentiment from Spellbinders Christmas Cheer Sentiments Betterpress Plate which I glimmered using gold foil.

To finish off the card I added a bow from Spellbinders Christmas Cocktails die set at the top of the lantern.

For the inside of my card I added a sentiment using a Divinity Designs stamp set and added a couple of branches using the embossing folder that I used on the front.
