Flower Shaker Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing another card using products from Spellbinders Just Add Cake Card Kit. 

This time round I created a shaker card using the Garden Party die set and the shaker domes which are designed to fit in the centre of the large flower. 

The sentiment is also from the sentiment set also included in the set.

I added a bee to the top left corner of the card. This is on a tiny spinner, so the bee spins around 

For the inside of the card I added a few flowers along the bottom of the card. I also added a couple more sentiments.

 

Deer Slide and Hide

Today I am sharing a fun interactive 5 x 7 card that I created recently.

For the interactive portion of the card, I used the Slide & Hide Mechanism die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

When you pull up the panel with the arrow, it reveals the background scene and a sentiment comes down from the bottom. 

To decorate the card I used dies from Spellbinders Summer Camp Collection designed by Allison Frazier.

Here is a look at the inside of my card, I used a sentiment from an older Honeybee Stamps stamp set.

Poppy Birthday

Today I am sharing two 5 x 7 birthday cards using Spellbinders Poppy Background Betterpress Plate.

I used the Betterpress plate to black foil the image. I then used the coordinating stencils to add colour to the poppies. For this card I used red inks to get the red poppies.

I added a die cut sentiment which is from Papertrey Ink.

This card is done the same as the one above, however I added the inks with a lighter hand and without reinking to get the pink poppies.

I used the Woven 3D Enbossing Folder to add the texture to the base of my card.

For the inside of my card I used Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday Sentiment set to add the birthday greeting.

Fresh Packed Birthday Cheer

Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using products from the Spellbinders April 2026 All Clubs Crate.

For this card I used the Large die of the month … Market Tote, which includes dies to create the tote and the food & flower dies to fill it.

To add texture to the tote I used the Embossing Folder of the Month … Market Weave. 

I added sentiments using the Fresh Packed stamp set which is the Clear Stamp of the Month.

For the inside of the card, I added more of the food die cuts to the bottom of the card. I added a sentiment to the sign which is from the Stitched Die of the Month.

Summer Camp Scene

Welcome to my blog. For my card today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using Spellbinders Summer Camp Collection designed by Allison Frazier.

For the background scene I used the Lakeside Memories Stencil set. This stencil is A2 size, and as I wanted to extend it for a 5 x 7 card I was careful how I added ink to the right side. As I messed up the Sky area, I cut off the sky and added a piece of blue cardstock and added clouds & a sun to the area.

To decorate the card I used the Trailside Trio, Splash Days and Trails End die sets.

For the inside of my card I added another tree from the Trails End die set. I also added two sentients using the Summertime Sentiments Clear stamp set.

 

It's Your Birthday Devour It

Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using products from Spellbinders Just Eat Cake Collection, which is a Birthday Card Making Kit recently released. 

I love this fun Chompster image which I paired with the Color Block Accent Arches & Essential Arches die set.

Here is a look at the inside of my card, I added another Chompster monster and added two sentiments from the Just Add Cake Sentiments set.

Celebrate in Style

Today I am sharing a shoe themed 5 x 7 card using products from Pinkfresh Studio. This card uses the Step into Style collection which includes a stamp set, press plate, stencil & die sets. I used the press plate for my card, hot foiling the image & sentiments using black foil, I then used the stencils to colour the image and the die to cut it out.

I adhere this image to a 5 x 7 top folding card to which I added the pink embossed panel, which was embossed using Spellbinders Petite Bows 3D Embossing Folder.

For the inside of the card, I added an older Spellbinders die set for the sentiment.

Crocus Birthday

I have a floral Side Panel card to share with you today using stamps & dies from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

For my card base I used the 5 x 7 Side Panel Showstopper Mechanism die set. To decorate the card, I added the crocuses from the Large Crocus stamp/die set.

I added a birthday sentiment to the card using Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday die set designed by Kristina Werner.

Here is a look at the back of my card.i added more sentiments using the Big Day Birthday stamp set. I also added another crocus. 

Ears To A Wonderful Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Today I am sharing an Easter card I created for my grandson. I have been waiting for my Spellbinders Club kit for March to arrive so I could make this card as I wanted to add the cap from the kit to the bunny. This is similar to one I made for my granddaughter, except for the cap. Adding the cap to the bunny was inspired by a card created by Sarah Leese.

This is a 5 x 7 card and used the February large die of the month and the Clear Stamp with coordinating die set for the sentiment.

For the background I used the Spellbinders/Simon Hurley Ornate Eggs 3D Embossing Folder with coordinating stencils.

For the inside of the card, I added a scrap of the embossed background along the bottom. I added a die cut Happy Easter which is from Karen Burniston. 

 

Daffodilly Birthday

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using stamps & dies from Made To Surprise by Sam  Calcott.

I used the Large Daffodil Stamp/Die set from Blooming Wonderful Collection which was released in February. 

I pulled the Curved Lattice die from the Curves & Squares Lace Folding Die set from the Creative Cuts Collection to add lattice effect along the side.

I added panels to both sides of the inside of the card adding sentiments from a couple of the flower stamp sets in this collection and more daffodils.

Chocolate Makes Everything Better

Today I am sharing a sweet 5 x 7 card I created recently using some of the products from Hero Arts Beary Sweet Collection. 

For this card I decided to create a giant chocolate bear along with a few chocolate covered gummi bears ... yummy!! For this card I used the Bear Hugs die set which has both the large and small gummi bears included in the set.

I pulled out an older sentiment from The Stamps of Life to add to the top of the card, along with an older speech bubble die from MFT Stamps.

For the inside I found an older long sentiment from Stampendous which I thought was perfect for the inside and added a few more of the chocolate covered gummi bears.

Panda Birthday

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 birthday card using products designed by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders.

The panda & sentiment are from the Birthday Bear die set. I added the Puffy Heart 3D Embossing Folder to create my background. After embossing the background, I covered the raised areas with white pigment ink.

For the inside of the card, I added another embossed panel along the bottom. I added a birthday sentiment which is an older one from Made To Surprise.
