Bookworm …. it’s a Paper Pretties Blog Hop!

PP Reading Polly Rocker wm (1)

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the Paper Pretties Design Team for our Paper Pretties New Release Blog Hop!!.

The hop started at Paper Pretties Blog, so if you just happened to hop onto my blog you might like to head back to the Paper Pretties Blog so you can start at the beginning.

For my card I used the new Bookworm Polly stamp set, this set is available at the Paper Pretties Boutique NOW!

This is actually a rocker card which I created using my Spellbinders Grand Circle Nestabilities. If you touch the card it will rock side to side which is why it is called a rocker  card.

Here is the inside of my card, I used another of the sentiments that is included in the Bookworm Polly stamp set.

Well that is about it from me for today, to continue on your journey you need to hop on over to Amber Hillman's blog.

Marilyn Mooseroe!

Riley-MarilynMooseroe-wm

Hi everyone,

It is day 5 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the release of 18 new Movie Themed Riley images this coming this Thursday 29th September by Riley and Company.

This time round I am featuring Marilyn Mooseroe …. isn’t she a cutie! I am just loving these new stamps this month.

A couple of week’s ago I finally succumbed and purchased the Grand Calibur die cutting machine by Spellbinders. I have been umming and ahhing about whether to purchase this for most of this year and finally decided to go for it. I like the idea of being able to use the bigger dies to create cards, boxes, baskets etc. At the time there was only one die I could purchase with it which was the Grand Labels 4 so while I was waiting for others that I ordered to arrive I played with this one.

I ended up creating two projects using this die, the basket above and a card which I will share with you during the Riley release blog hop. Creating the basket was really easy. I die cut the largest of the labels 4 dies and then centred it on my scorpal and scored at 1 inch on either side of the centre. Then I created an open box to go in the centre and attached the handle.

The rest of the Riley and Company Design Team will also be sharing their cards they have created with you this week, so don’t forget to check them out too (You can find a list of the Design Team members on my side bar). We also have a Guest Designer this release who is Gina Lindsay so check out her blog too!

I will be back again tomorrow with another sneak peek to share with you all. Don’t forget the Riley & Company Blog hop which will be held on Thursday 29th September starting at 10 PM EST.
