Scrummy!

CCEE1219 Scrummy wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Charlene Merrick continues to bring us her May challenges.

Charlene has challenged us to make our own designer brads or buttons.

For my card this week, I have used a stamp set that has been in my to use box for a while now … it’s a stamp set I picked up early last year by Pepper & Friends. I created my own buttons using button moulds and paper clay, once I had moulded the buttons and let them dry a little I then colored them using my copic air brush.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Stamps: Fairy Cake Frolics – Pepper & Friends
Paper: White; Blue; Yellow; Snips & Snails DP – Doodlebug Design Inc.
Other: Black Ink; Oval Punches; Yellow Twine; Spellbinders Edgeabilities; Foam Tape; Copics

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This is another fun sketch!

GetSketchy_DesignTeamblinkie

For my card this week I used MFT Stamps Pure Innocence Baseball Boy. I used the Die-namics Rectangle Stax 1 and Die-namics Rectangle Stax 2 for the layers for the panels the Baseball Boy is stamped on and also the panel on the right of this. The Border near the bottom of the card was created using the Die-namics Chevron Stripes die. For the baseball I used the Die-namics ALL-STAR Die & Stamp Set, finally the sentiment uses the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome .

MFT Creative Challenge!

MFT Wreath wm

Hi everyone,

Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're creating wreaths. Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have put their MFT stamps and/or Die-namics dies to work to create a wreath for you today!

Now I have to admit this month’s challenge scared me, I had never thought I would ever make a wreath other than a Christmas one. But of course I had to give it a go. My wreath is 6 inches (15cm) in diameter, this was the only size I could find when I went looking for a ring to make my wreath.

MFT Wreath2 wm

The first thing I did to create my wreath was to wrap the foam base with Cappucino Twine.  I used the Die-namics Botanical Beauty to cut out the flowers from My Favorite Felt Bubblegum; My Favorite Felt English Rose and My Favorite Felt English Toffee felt. I then added the Die-namics Large Leafy Flourish using My Favorite Felt Sour Apple.

To finish off my wreath I added a hanger using Grosgrain Ribbon Bubblegum.

Die-namics: Botanical Beauty; Large Leafy Flourish – MFT Stamps

Born To Be Wild!

Lala Outlaw wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. It’s a new month which means we have a new challenge hostess which is Barb Anders.

Gardening or outdoors: Barb says that the gardening season is heating up where she lives. Make a card or project that reflects gardening or the Great Outdoors.

I decided to use some of my newer La La Land Crafts stamps this week for my card, the little boy (Outlaw Luka) is gorgeous don’t you think!!!!!! I added an Australian Flag to the back of his bike by using the flag from the Digger Luka stamp set. The fence is created by stamping it twice on white card and then I cut it out and attached over my footpath and sky.

Lala Outlaw2 wm

Here is the inside of my card, as you can see I stamped Outlaw Luka again and added a birthday sentiment.
