Isn't this image just tooooooo adorable, I have wanted it for soooooooo long and as I could never find it ..... I ended up ordering it and it arrived on Monday! Of course when I saw the sketch challenge today over at SCS I had to use this image .... it worked so well with it.
I started by stamping the image onto white card and cutting it down to size, layering it onto black and blue bayou card. The top corners of all layers were rounded using the ticket corner punch and I also used my paper piercing mat & guide to create the decoration on the top corners.
I stamped the weave background to the base of the folded white card using sky blue ink and then to the top of this card I added my Basic Grey DP and the thin strip of Blue Bayou. I attached my image to my card using foam tape and added the brads to either side of the image. The verse was stamped in black to the lower right hand corner of the card. I then mounted this whole folded card to another piece of single layered blue bayou for a different look .... this was one of the options for this weeks sketch challenge .... so I decided to go with it seeing it was something I wouldn't normally do!
