Hi everyone,
If you came for the MFT Stamps WTG VIP blog hop scroll down to my next post.
It’s Wednesday which means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp club challenge over on the MFT blog.
This week the challenge is These are a few of My Favorite Things, based on the song from Sound Of Music (Raindrops on Roses). SCS Keyword MFTWSC11172010
For my card I used the new Emma Celebrates the Season for my card. I used a couple of lines from the song as inspiration of my card. First up the snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes …. as you can see I have added snowflakes to my card. There is also some reference to warm woollen mittens … well you can’t see them on Emma, but I am sure she has them on don’t you hehe!
I paper pieced Emma’s coat and scarf using designer paper. The snowflakes were created using the Die-namics Snowflake Trio Die.
The sentiment used on the front of my card is from the Merry & Bright stamp set also released earlier in the month.
Inside my card I added another sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set. I used the Polka Dot Greetings Frame Die for my sentiment.
Check out Kim's blog at 11 AM EST for a list of which MFT Design Team members and MFT Challenge Team members are participating this week.
To enter, be sure to add your project to the SCS galleries using Keyword MFTWSC11172010.
