MFT Stamps & Buttons Galore Blog Hop.

MFT FlopseyButtonBH wm

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!

MFT has teamed up with Buttons Galore & More to do a Blog Hop showcasing products from both companies!  To see the entire list of participating designers, please head to the MFT Blog.  You'll want to leave a comment on EACH designer's blog because there is $100 in prizes up for grabs.  MFT will be giving away 2, $25 Gift Certificates, and Buttons Galore & More will be giving away 2, $25 button assortments.  The deadline to comment is July 29th and the winners of all prizes will be announced on July 30th on the MFT and BG&M blogs, so check back to see if you've won!  (I'm crossing my fingers for you).

For my card today I have used the cute Flopsey You Lift Me up … just love this set and makes me think of birthdays. I can never make too many birthday cards! I stamped and layered Flopsey using Die-namics Circle STAX Set 1 and Die-namics Circle STAX Set 2 . The piece at the right side of the card was created using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX (one of my favorite die-namics!), I added the flower using Die-namics Plentiful Petals . The sentiment and the banner the sentiment is on are both from the Die-namics Airplane Greetings Die & Stamp Set Combo.

I paper pieced the balloons that Flopsey is holding using designer paper.

The buttons are all from Buttons Galore  & More, I used buttons from 3 different packs …. Berrylicious; Strawberry and Mint Cooler. I have threaded Caribbean Teal Twine and Blossom Twine through the buttons.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped part of Flopsey and added a sentiment. I also used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX again to decorate the inside.

Don’t forget to leave a comment on everyone’s blog for your chance to win 1 of 4 prizes being offered. Check out the MFT Blog for a list of the other designers participating in the hop.

I love your card but mostly I love how you stamped inside and did not color. We forget so often that you don't have to and it still looks awesome.

I loved the colors you used. The paper pattern choices were nice. The use of black really made everything stand out!

I like the shading you did in coloring the bunnyand the light blue shaddowing, as well as the grass. The use of the flower with the button and coordinating twine along with the other buttons added good texture. I liked that you used the twine in the buttons two different ways. The bold lettering on the Happy Birthday flag was just the right style.
Thank you for sharing.

I love it how you have tied the whole colour scheme together by having the papers also in the balloons -and then in the inside, the stamp without any colouring. Stylish!

Frances I love these peacock-y colors, and I especially love the inside of your card with the flags of the patterned paper -- easy peasy with a huge impact! And how cool that they had buttons to match!
