Riley and The Beanstalk

Riley0314PopUpBeanstalk-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This time round our challenge hostess is me!

For our challenge this week I have given the Design Team a sketch to play with.

Riley0314

Here is the sketch if you want to play along.

Here is the front of my card where I used the sketch. The bottom layer was embossed using an embossing folder and I used a smaller sentiment panel but otherwise it is the same sketch Smile.

For the sentiment I used Riley and Company’s Friendships make us richer layering this on my card using the Karen Burniston /Elizabeth Craft Designs Katie Label Pivot Card.Riley0314PopUpBeanstalk2-wm

As you can see I decided to create a pop up on the inside using Riley and Company’s Riley and the Beanstalk having the beanstalk coming up from the clouds. I think this is still one of my favorite Riley images Smile.

For the pop up portion of my card I used Karen Burniston’s / Elizabeth Craft Designs Pop It Ups Lots of Pops Pop-Up die set. The “Clouds” are from the Karen Burniston / Elizabeth Craft Designs All Seasons Tree.

Here is a close up look of Riley and all the clouds the beanstalk is growing through.

For the sentiment I used Riley and Company’s Plant a seed of kindness which was layered using two of the labels from the  Karen Burniston /Elizabeth Craft Designs Katie Label Pivot Card.

Here is a side view of all the different layers created by using the Lots of Pops Pop-Up die.
