Hello everyone,
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess for September, Danielle Lounds continues to bring us our challenges.
This week Danielle has given us a Back to school challenge. Break out your notepaper, schoolbooks and pencils! Our theme for this week is school. Use cute school themed stamps, paper clips, notepaper… anything school related is good!
Here in Australia our kids don’t start school at this time of year, they start at the end of January and they finish school for the year in December. So I decided to create a Thank You card and gift box that can be given to one of my Grandchildren’s teachers at the end of the year.
Being an owl lover, when I finally found the Sizzix Owl Bag designed by Lori Whitlock in my local Craft Store I had to bring it home with me.
I decided to go with a monochromatic theme for my gift back and picked my favorite color blue.
After I had created the Owl Bag I decided to also create a card using the die … which is when I decided to use it for this challenge. I used PTI’s Teacher die which I added to the lower portion of the card.
Here is the inside of my card …. I added PTI’s Thank You Die and also another of their Teacher Dies. To make sure I completed the challenge I also added an apple, book and pencil.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
