Hi everyone,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it's time to introduce our new challenge hostess for March which is Anne Harmon.
Anne tells us that .... "March comes in like a Lion" So our challenge this week is to create a card with a wild animal theme.
I have never heard this saying before, but I guess that is because I live down here in Australia, so our weather would be different to yours especially as March for us is the beginning of Autumn whereas you are in Winter/Spring.
For my card this week I decided to create a Pivot card using the Katie Label Pivot Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
I decorated my card using stamps & dies from MFT Stamps which I received for Christmas.
This is the front of my card, as the Anne referred to Lions in this challenge, of course I put my lion on the front :)
As you can see, I have gone a little over board with this challenge even decorated the back of my card. I had an animal left over which I had already die cut /stamped and colored ... so I had to use it hehe. Of course that meant I had to die cut, stamp and color another tree!

What a fabulous birthday card, Frances! Amazing work!
Your cards are always magnificent and I love the papers you used for your background for this one.
This card is so sweet, in spite of the WILD animals. So cute for a little one's birthday.
This card is just too, too cute! I love it.
LOVE this Frances ... I think it's my very favourite Katie Label Pivot card EVER.
Super card, Frances! It looks like a mini safari!
It must be a northern hemisphere thing, because we have the same saying here. Even if it's not true for you - what a delightful and enchanting wildlife scene you have created!
that background dp was the PERFECT backdrop for your scene....wow
