A Halloween Treat

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our October Challenge Hostess which is Jessie Rone.

With Halloween only a few weeks away, Jessie has challenged us to ... Halloween Treats- either cards with treats on them, or Halloween items that you can give treats in.

I wanted to play with the new Halloween stamp set from the new Elizabeth Craft Designs designer Petroschi Designs by Bianca. The set called Hedgehog Daisy Halloween. For my project I decided to create a Doorhanger Treat box using the ECD Tags & More 9 Sparkle die set.

To create my Halloween scene I first sponge some black card using Tim Holtz Spider Web Stencil and White Picket Fence Distress Paint. I also cut two rolling hills using Karen Burniston's Outdoor Edges die set which I also sponged with white. I then added my Halloween Hedgehog characters and the cauldron, pumpkin (this is cut in half and placed on either side of my doorhanger) and bat.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
