Hi everyone,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for October, Maryann Einam is back with another fun challenge for us all.
Maryann tells us that ... We couldn't be female without some Chocolate in our lives, make a
card using chocolate combination. - Chocolate & Pink, Chocolate &
Green, Chocolate and Vanilla.
One of my favorite color combos is Brown (chocolate) and Blue, so that is what I went with for my challenge this week and I dug out some of my favorite designer paper from way back when to use on my card.
As you can see I have created an Accordion card using the Oval Accordion Card die set designed by Karen
Burniston for Elizabeth
Craft Designs. On the edges of the blue designer paper pages I have added a brown corner which is from the Tags & More 2 Deco die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
I used the Bluebird stamp on my the two end pages which is one of the new stamps from ECD's newest designer Bianca Petroschi. I am loving all the new stamp designs Bianca has created.
Here is my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

Nice card, Frances; blue and brown is such a great color combo. I like the corners on the first and third panel.
Gosh - that's not a colour combination that would spring to my mind but it looks fabulous and is certainly one I have to try out! I always love cards with birds, and those ones are beautiful. Love the little corner accents, too!
