Monkey Spinner Card

Hi everyone,

For my card today I have created a Spinner card using the new Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. I have also used the cute monkey which is from one of the new stamp set from one of our new Designers ... Stamps by Krista.

Here is a video of my card showing how the monkey slides and spins down the sliding track.

Here's how I created my card:

1. Cut a piece of brown cardstock that measures 5 3/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches when folded to create your card base.

Layer onto the front of the card base a piece of green card that measures 5 1/2 inches x 4 inches.

2. Cut a piece of designer paper that measures 5 1/4 inches x 3 3/4 inches. Layer onto another piece of cardstock the same size for added strength.

Cut a piece of green cardstock that measures 5 1/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches and layer to the bottom section of the designer paper as per photo above.
Using the middle sized curvy slider from the Sliders & Spinners die set, die cut about 3/4 inches up from the top of the green card as per photo above.
Adhere a piece of Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape to the back of some Fun Foam and use the 4 circles die included in the die set to die cut the fun foam.
Die cut two of the smallest circles from the Stitched Circles die set.
Adhere one of the fun foam circles to the back of one of the circles. Place the circle so that the fun foam goes through the hole the slider die created and then adhere the other circle to the other side of the fun foam. (Note: depending on the height of the foam tape, you may want to adhere to fun foam circles together for extra height.

3. Turn the card over so that the designer paper faces the table and apply foam tape using the photo above as a guide. Be careful to keep the tape well away to where the circle will be travelling when it moves up and down the slider track.

4. Using the Stitched Fishtail Banner die set, die cut two fishtail banners using designer paper. Adhere to the bottom part of the card as per photo above.

Stamp the "We should hang out" sentiment from the Cheeky Monkey Clear Stamp set to the green card between the two fishtail banners.
Place a piece of Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape to the front circle.

Attach monkey image to circle.
Adhere the designer paper panel to front of card.

5. Inside of Card:

Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 5 1/4 inches x 3 3/4 inches.
Adhere strip of green cardstock that measures 5 1/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches to the bottom of the white card.
Layer onto a piece of green cardstock that measures 5 1/2 inches x 4 inches.
Using the Stitched Fishtail Banner die set, die cut two fishtail banners using designer paper. Adhere to the bottom part of the card as per photo above.
Stamp the "cheeky monkey" sentiment from the Cheeky Monkey Clear Stamp set to the green card between the two fishtail banners.
Stamp the "You're the Best" sentiment from the General Sentiments Clear Stamp set to the centre of the white card.
Adhere the card panel to the inside of the card.
