Flying By Reveal Wheel Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. As challenge hostess for the month, I continue to issue the challenges.

Today (23rd August) is Ride the Wind Day, this day was created to celebrate the anniversary of the first man powered flight. There are so many things that rely on wind for them to work, so let's include something that needs wind on our cards today. Some examples include kite flying, windsurfing, Hang Gliding; Sailing Boats, Birds Flying, Hot Air Balloons, Balloons, Paper Planes etc.

As you can see I have created another Reveal Wheel Card using Lawn Fawn's Reveal Wheel; Stitched  Hillside Borders die sets along with La La Land Crafts Sending Smiles Stamp set.

I had to change the position of the speech bubble for this card, in order for it to work .... the hot air balloon would have covered some if not all of it. So I die cut this area a little further down. It makes it look like the bear holding the globe is talking.

Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

Here is a look at the 4 different sentiments which are reveal when you turn the wheel of my card.

To create the sky background I used Tumbled Glass & Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks over the background and then stamped clouds over the sky area.

I paper pieced the hot air balloon using designer paper.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. I stamped clouds all over the white background. Added the "Hi There" sentiment which finishes off the sentence from the front of the card. I also added the last of the bears from the La La Land Crafts stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
