Sending You A Latte Love

Hi Crafty Friends,

Originally I created these two cards to celebrate International Coffee Day which was earlier in the month. However I had to rearrange some of my blog posts to fit in another card and moved this post, not realising when I moved it why it was posted on that day .... oops! So here is my coffee card/s a little late.

To create my cards I pulled out my Hero Arts My Monthly Hero August Card Kit and create a couple of cards.

I wanted to play with the "Cafe" die that was included in the card kit. As I couldn't decide whether to die cut it in black or in white, I decided to create one in both colors.

For the background of both cards, I created a rainbow effect using Barn Door, Mustard Seed and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. I then spritzed the background with water and also added some gold paint splattered all over the background.

To add some color to my base card, I used the Distressed Tile Bold Prints Cling stamp.

I also added a coffee cup, from a Lawn Fawn stamp set on the sign.

For my second card, I die cut the cafe die from white cardstock. I colored in all the various elements using copic markers. This time around I stamped a heart onto the sign.

Both inside of the cards are the same, adding images and sentiments from the card kit.
