It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Maryann Einam our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day in Australia, USA, Canada and many other parts of the world- create a card with flowers.
For the white panel, I used the scallop panel from Mama Elephant's Hexastar Frames die set to which I have applied a stencilled background. Before adding the image I masked the scalloped area at the top and bottom of the panel.
I used Simon Says Stamp Bouquet of Roses Stencil to add the floral design to my panel. After apply pink and green inks to my card through the stencil, I then applied Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel over the whole stencil and then set it aside to dry.
I used the "Happy Mother's Day" to a piece of pink cardstock, embossing the sentiment in white. I then used one of the banners from the Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set, adding this to the top right hand corner of the card.
To finish off the front, I added pink splatters over the white panel and then added a few white jewels around the panel.
For the inside of the card I added two more panels to the top and bottom of the card which have also be decorated using the Bouquet of Roses Stencil.
I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set for the sentiment. The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Best Parents Clear Stamp set.
