Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Pop up card using one of the new pop up die sets from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott’s Say It With Words Collection.

For this one I used the Fa La La Pop up die set. 

To decorate my card, I pulled out Spellbinders penguins from the July 26 Small Die of the Month.

The sentiment is an old Mama Elephant one that I love to pull out when adding penguins to a Christmas card.

I added greenery to the top of the card using a die set from Altenew.

I kept the front simple, adding pattern paper from the collection and then adding Merry Christmas 

A Little Fly-By

Today I am sharing a fun Slimline Pop-up card using new products from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott.

For this card I used the Spread Your Wings die set from the Another Surprise Inside Collection which was released in July. This die set includes dies to create a butterfly pop-up card as I have done here. But it also includes a number of smaller butterflies which can be used to embellish the card.

I love that it fits inside a Slimline card.

I added a sentiment to the top section of the card, which is from the new Verses & Sentiments stamp set also from the Another Surprise Inside Collection.

For the front of the card, I added the two patterned papers I used on the inside of the card. 

The "Hello" sentiment is from the Big Words die set. I also added a few of the smaller butterflies included in the Spread Your Wings die set.

Candy Cane Swing

Spellbinders July Club Kits normally have a Christmas theme to them to coincide with Christmas in July. This years All Clubs Crate didn't disappoint! My kit arrived last Wednesday, so I wasted no time pulling out all the die sets and assembling all the fun images.

For my first card using the kits, I used the All Clubs Crate Bonus die set ... Candy Cane Swing. This die set comes with the candy cane which does swing back and forth, the bow, greener, snowman & penguin.

I decided to pull out my Made To Surprise 5 x 7 Side Panel Card die set to create a Side Panel Card. I die cut it from white, and then used red and white for the layers. I used the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month ... Festive Greetings to add texture to the white panels.

On the side panel on the right, I added a Merry using an older MFT die set called Stacked Merry. I also added two stamped sentiments from the Merry Sentiments Clear Stamp/die set designed by Lisa Horton for Spellbinders.

I added a panel on the back so I had a place to add an additional sentiment & a place to write a personal greeting.

The sentiments used here are from the July 2026 Clear Stamp/Die of the Month ... Cue the Merry.

Best on the Block

Today I am sharing a 16th birthday card I created with a Lego theme. As soon as I saw this Let’s Connect stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, I knew I had to order it as I have two Lego enthusiasts in my family.

For this card I used the Diamond Showstopper die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott. 

I added the “16” to the middle of the diamonds which helps to keep the diamond portion of the card intact.

For the sentiment I used Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday die sets. I cut off the “IG” from the word “Big” to create the “BDay”.

Here is a look at the back of my card, I added the birthday sentiment which is from Altenew’s Birthday Builder stamp set. The other sentiment is from the Let’s Connect stamp set.

50th Birthday

Today I am sharing a 50th birthday card I made for my eldest daughter’s birthday recently. 

For this card I used the 5 x 7 Side Panel Card Showstopper die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott. 

The numbers are also from Made to Surprise.

To decorate my card I used Papertrey Ink’s Cake Builder, Build-A-Party Hat & This is Big - Birthday die sets.

I added a sentiment from Made to Surprise to the panel on the back of my card.

Deer Slide and Hide

Today I am sharing a fun interactive 5 x 7 card that I created recently.

For the interactive portion of the card, I used the Slide & Hide Mechanism die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

When you pull up the panel with the arrow, it reveals the background scene and a sentiment comes down from the bottom. 

To decorate the card I used dies from Spellbinders Summer Camp Collection designed by Allison Frazier.

Here is a look at the inside of my card, I used a sentiment from an older Honeybee Stamps stamp set.

Black & White Birthday Wishes

Last week I shared two cards I created using a foiled Betterpress image. For my card today I am using the same image, but this image is the negative image that you can get by using the left over used foil and a solid plate. 

This Betterpress plate is called Sweet Memories and was one of the monthly plates from the Betterpress Society.

For my card I created a Trifold card using the 5 x 7 Trifold Showstopper die set from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

Here is a look at the back of the card. I added a sentiment onto the white panel.

Crocus Birthday

I have a floral Side Panel card to share with you today using stamps & dies from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott.

For my card base I used the 5 x 7 Side Panel Showstopper Mechanism die set. To decorate the card, I added the crocuses from the Large Crocus stamp/die set.

I added a birthday sentiment to the card using Concord & 9th’s Big Day Birthday die set designed by Kristina Werner.

Daffodilly Birthday

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a 5 x 7 card using stamps & dies from Made To Surprise by Sam  Calcott.

I used the Large Daffodil Stamp/Die set from Blooming Wonderful Collection which was released in February. 

I pulled the Curved Lattice die from the Curves & Squares Lace Folding Die set from the Creative Cuts Collection to add lattice effect along the side.

I added panels to both sides of the inside of the card adding sentiments from a couple of the flower stamp sets in this collection and more daffodils.

Sweetest Birthday

Today I am sharing a fun shaped card using dies from Spellbinders Make It & Bake It Collection designed by Tina Smith. 

For this card I pulled out the Rectangle Woodgrain Board from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott’s Against the Grain Collection. I thought this would be perfect to add these images to.

Here is another view of the front of my card.

For the inside of the card, I added more of the Woodgrain patterned paper along the bottom of the card. The sentiment is an older one from Colorado Craft.
