A few weeks ago I had to make a Christmas themed card to use for a shoebox swap that we were doing at one of the stamp clubs I go to each month. I decided to create Squash card for my project for this swap as it was something different.

I used Stampin’ Up’s Delightful Decorations, this photo shows my card as it is opening up.

Here is the final view of my card, you can see the front and the inside of my card. I love creating these cards.

I actually made two of these cards, which are the same except for the designer paper.

It was a fun card to make and a few people liked it enough to also want to make one, so when I needed to come up with an idea for a card for a shoebox swap I went to on Thursday I decided to make another one of those cards. This is what I came up with.

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week the challenge is to use an unique fold/Non Traditional Fold.

I did something new for me, I found this technique over on SCS it was a technique challenge some time ago ….  TLC201 Fun Funky Fold. Basically it is a variation of the squash book, which I have made before but not this variation which is a card.

Basically you start of with a square piece of card and by folding it using the directions include in the link above you get this card. My paper was 8 inches square before I started folding it.

For my card I used two Paper Pretties stamp sets, What the Cluck and Cluck Part 2
