Little Miss Muffet!

It is Monday again which means another challenge with my goofy CCEE friends on SCS. This week is our Goofy Name Feature Stamper .... which basically means we pick a name of someone on SCS whose user name appeals to us in some way and create a card relating to that name and then send them that card. Our GNFS this week is mwebb .... and a little birdie also told us that it is also her birthday today too ... so happy birthday Mary!

Now for our card ... we were instructed that we had to make a birthday card with a web on it ... in honor of mwebb.

Adding a web to a card around Halloween is pretty easy but incorporating one into a birthday card in March is a little harder ... not impossible of course just harder .... so it did take me a little while to figure out what I was going to do. I had a stamped image of this girl sitting on my desk left over from something I was going to do but then changed my mind and it came to me while I was making another card for some other challenge. This card kind of reminds me of Little Miss Muppet ... although I guess she isn't sitting on any tuffet or eating for that matter either ... but she does look like she is edging the opposite way to where the spider is haha!

To create this I stamped the girl, masked her and then stamped the seat using my stamp positioner so that she was sitting where I wanted her to be seated. I then masked the seat too so that I could stamp the grass and sky. the spider and web were stamped in the right corner and the tree branches in the left corner ... the branches are actually stamped twice to get it to look like a fuller tree.

The ribbon was white, I used my alcohol markers to get the color I needed and attached them to my DP layer. I also used my nestabilities to layer the birthday greeting. Hopefully Mary will like this!
