Hi there and welcome to the Bling 'Bet Bounce, if you have just come onto my blog by chance you may want to bounce on over to Kim MFT Lady's Blog so you can start the Bling 'Bet Bounce from the very beginning.
MFT Stamps are excited to bring to you their very first Alphabet set and a bit of a different concept in that nothing like it is out there!
As you can see by the photo above the alphabet has a series of circles all around each letter. These circles or holes are ideal to embellish with things like rhinestones, brads, pearls, left plain ... the list goes on! If you follow the bounce you will see all the fantastic ideas my Design Team friends all came up with for this alphabet.
I stamped the letters I was using onto my white card and then used my circle punch to punch them out. I then layered them using my scallop circle punch. Next I added my bling!
For my notebook that I created for my DD, I decided to use some adhesive rhinestones that I had on hand already. You can see a close up in the photo above.
I also used the new Digital Girl that will also be released by MFT along with Bling 'Bet on Wednesday 4th February.
Here is a teaser at another project I made using this set ... this time it is a card ... come back on Thursday to see the rest of the card as it is for this week's MFT Sketch challenge which Cindy Haffner will be hosting. You can find all the MFT sketch challenges over in our sketch forum of the MFT Stamps member forum of SCS.
One thing I learnt while making this particular card is to make sure you have enough things to decorate your letters BEFORE you start adding them ... just because you thought you saw them in the shop recently doesn't mean you did!
My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, February 4th from 9-10 p.m. EST. This month there are THREE new sets being released including a Who's that Girl set that is GOING DIGITAL!
Head over to the MFT forum on SCS to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.
Now it is time for you to leave my blog and continue on your bouncing journey by bouncing over to the amazing Jen del Muro's blog. Hope you enjoy your adventure.
