Happy Monday everyone .... as you know it is the beginning of a new month which always means a busy time on my blog as I have releases from a couple of design teams I am on as well as other challenges etc to share with you all each day this week. Some days there will be 2 or even 3 posts a day so make sure you scroll down to make sure you don't miss anything.
Well as it is Monday that means it is time for the challenge I do with my CCEE Stamper friends each week. It is Tosh Leyendekker's turn to issue the challenge this month and the first one she gave us was a sketch ... now you know I LOVE sketch challenges ... so I enjoyed doing this one!
I decided to use one of the new sets that MFT Stamps will be releasing this Wednesday 4th February. This set is called "Tea for Two" by Stephanie Fizer .... now don't you think it is totally adorable!!!!!!!!! Actually I don't drink tea or coffee for that matter .... so it is probably safer if you come visit me to make your own cuppa haha ... that way you get a descent cup!
One of the advantages of clear stamps is that you can bend the sentiments a little if you wish and that is what I did for the sentiments on the front of my card .... they are normally straight however I wanted the sentiment to go around the circle so I just gave it a bit of a curve when I placed it on my acrylic block .... so easy!
Here is the inside of my card .... I used another of the sentiments that are included in the "Tea for Two" set.
Here is the sketch we were given ... nice and easy! Would you like to play along to .... check out our CCEE Stampers blog for details.
My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, Februray 4th from 9-10 p.m. EST. This month there are THREE new sets being released including a Who's that Girl set that is GOING DIGITAL!
Head over to the MFT forum on SCS to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.
