What a Girl Wants .... Hopping Around The Block!

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Hop Around the Block"

If you didn't hop onto my blog from Jessica Rone's blog then you might want to hop back to Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything!

MFT Stamps are releasing two new stamp sets today .... which are now available for purchase. The sets are BC Dzyns "Text Ya Later" and one from a brand new designer Amanda Baird "What a Girl Wants".

My card uses the new set "What a girl wants" ... I have combined this stamp set with 3 other older MFT stamps to create my card today. And I have a story to go with my card today ... this image yelled story to me ............

Have you met Prissy (that is what I have decided to name her)???? She is all dressed up and she does have somewhere to go!

Actually she has a bunch of people coming over tonight for a party and she forgot to ring the caterers and it is much too late to do so now. So Prissy has rushed out to her favorite shop that sells all those yummy pastries, cakes, chocolates etc. Luckily it is still open. Now all she has to do is decide which ones to buy because there are so many to chose from. What is a girl to do ..... maybe buy them all!!!!!!!

I used the Mojo81 sketch challenge for the layout of my card. I paper pieced "Prissy's" dress.

FYI -- new release sets go live at midnight Tuesday/first thing Wednesday a.m.

First 50: First 50 customers will receive a free Memento Dew Drop

Hook-up: Buy a set of 36 Caio Copic markers on sale for $125 plus get a free pack of perfect paper panels with your order (24 sheets; value of $3.95) *no gift vouchers may be used in conjunction with this promotion.

Have you been following the MFT Idol Contest over on SCS ... this week My Favorite Things is sponsoring a Judges' Contest. For all of the details, visit this thread.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you that the new designer Amanda Baird is actually Carole Burrage's niece ... cool ha! Speaking of Carole that is your next pit stop on this blog hopping adventure today. So off you hop to Carole's blog! Thanks for stopping by.
