Sent with Love

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Kelli Hull our challenge hostess for February, continues to bring us fun challenges.

This week we celebrate Amethyst, the birth stone for February .... Apparently Purple is Kelli's favorite color! So for our challenge this week Kelli has asked us to create another Valentine's card which also includes the color purple somewhere.

I don't really give cards for Valentine's Day as no-one I know really worries about it. So I decided to create a generic "Love" card that could be used for Valentine's day but could also be used for another occasion too.

For my card this week I used the Heart Pivot Card die designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. This is actually the first time I have used the Heart Pivot as a "lovey" themed card, I have used it plenty of times for Baby/Birthday etc by not for anything love related LOL!

I used the Seamless Pivot Card technique which Karen shared recently on Youtube. I am soooo loving creating my pivot cards this way!

Here is the inside of my card, I added two more of the Forever Friends bears which are included in the same set as the one on the front of my card.

And finally the back of my card.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

Stamps: Forever Friends Black & Gold - Do Crafts; Mixed Messages - PTI; Square Sayings - Simon Says Stamp; Cupcake BFF - Art Impressions
Paper: White; Lavender; Purple; Violet Crush DP - Kaisercraft
Dies: Heart Pivot Card - designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs
Other: Black Ink; Foam Tape; Copics
