Bring Me Sunshine

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  Being a brand new month it is  time to introduce our new challenge hostess, Danielle Lounds.

Danielle tells us that at this time of the year the sun finally comes out in full force. To celebrate, include a little sunshine on your project. Sun images, lots of bright yellow or your favorite sun ray folder/die cut would all work.

For my card today I created a Pop Up Card using the Adirondack Chair Pop Up Card designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I also used the Beach Edges die set and the Palm Tree and Pail die set.

I also wanted to incorporate the Sun Rays die from MFT Stamps, to disguise where the suns rays cut off on the right hand side of the card I covered the edges with the Palm Tree.

Here is a side on view of my card so you can see the pop up portion of my card a little easier.

Here is a closer look at the base of my card. I added two sentiments, one die cut and one stamped.

And finally the front of my card. I have again used the Sun Rays die and added the Beach Edges along the bottom of the card.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

of course, this one has MY name on it....lol.....anyhooooo.....I was looking at these dies as I would like to get just one basic pop up die to use when the spirit hits me.....I never realized that the details come separate from the basic dies......would you have a recommendation on a good basic pop up die that I could then use as I wanted???? You are da queen of these cards, so I came to the best to ask????
