Hi Crafty Friends,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. As challenge hostess for the month, I finish off the month with one last challenge.
In my part of the world (Australia), Saturday is the first day of Spring .... Flowers are beautiful at any time of the year so for our challenge this week we are to add some flowers to our card.
I recently received the Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit which contained a beautiful large stamp set called Mindy's Flowers which was full of flowers. So I decided to use that for my card today. I stamped the flowers onto watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
For the circle frame, I stamped the flower at the top a second time and cut that and pop it up over the flower of the one on the square panel.
The card was die cut using Our Daily Bread Designs Tri-fold Card with Layers die set. I die cut the layers using the designer paper I received in the kit, I just love that pretty pink floral paper.
After adhering everything onto the card, I finished off the card by adding some tiny heart shape sprinkles also included in the kit. I added three pink hearts inside the circle frame and a blue heart on the flower pot.
Here is one last photo of my card, this time when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Such a pretty card for Spring!
A lovely, very feminine card, Frances. I like the contrast with the script DP on some of the panels.
Such a pretty card - and I agree, that paper is just SO sweet.
