Hi Crafty Friends,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for the month which is Anne Harmon.
For our challenge this week we are to create a card with a die cut, and be sure to add a ribbon.
For my card today I decided to create a shaker card using MFT Stamps Swimming Pool Die-namics and the Swimming Pool Shaker Pouches.
I die cut the pool into a piece of patterned paper that I selected as I thought it might look like terracotta tiles that sometimes are around pools.
To decorate my shaker card I used the cute little girl from MFT Stamps Drink Up The Sunshine stamp set.
I added the sentiment to the bottom right hand side of the card die cutting the sentiment using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builders die set.
I forgot to add a ribbon, but the little girl does have a ribbon in her hair, so that will have to do!
For the inside of my card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set.
I added two sentiments from MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Sentiments to the label and decorated it using a couple more images from the Drink Up The Sunshine stamp set.
I added another girl to the base of the card.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
