"F" for Frances

Hi Crafty Friends,

A month or so before Christmas, my husband and I went to a local craft store. While I was browsing at other things, my husband found these Heidi Swapp Marquee Love Alphabet on clearance for 50 cents each. He found an "F" in both the 8 inch version and a string version. We figured you can't go too wrong when you only spend $1 for the two, so we purchased them and sent them off to Santa to add to my presents.

After watching a few videos, I decided to assemble the 8 inch "F". I pulled out some teal glitter cardstock and used the template that comes with the set to create the liner for the inside of the letter. I did think about adding washi tape around the side. I successfully attached it to the top of the letter and then looked out how many bends there were on the top right of the letter so carefully removed what I had added.

As this letter is supposed to be all about me! I decided to add an owl. I pulled out Elizabeth Craft Designs Owl and Winter Bird die sets and added this to the top of the letter.

Finally I added the bulbs and the lights which are included in the kit and turned them on. This will make a fun addition to my craft area!

Wow! Wow! Wow! One, you and your HUBBY were browsing in a craft store? I can't even imagine my hubby browsing there - he comes in to tell me he is there to pick me up and then walks beside me hoping I'll be done soon. And then I hurry and finish. Ha. What a fun project!
