Not Older, Just Better

Hi Crafty Friends,

A week or two ago I shared a Slimline Card using dies from Trinity Stamps. The one I shared then was portrait style, today I am sharing another Slimline card using the Trinity Stamps dies but this time landscape style.

I used Trinity Stamps Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set for all the panels. The grass and clouds were die cut using the Slimline Scenic Border die set. These dies make it so each to create grass, snow and clouds for Slimline cards as they dies are 8 3/4 inches long.

For the main panel, I used Distress Oxide inks in Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord and Wilted Violet.

To decorate my card I used MFT Stamps Zippy Zebras stamp set. The sentiment on the clouds is from the Bitty Birthday Sentiments stamp set also from MFT Stamps.

I hadn't planned on having layers on the inside of my card, however when I went to stamp the sentiment onto the base I added a big blob of ink which was too hard to remove. So layers to the rescue!!! Luckily the smug was just inside the bottom area where the purple panel covers.

I added the Birthday sentiment which is again from the Bitty Birthday Sentiments stamp set. The zebras and "Let's Go Make Some Fun" sentiment is from the Zippy Zebras stamp set.
