Hi Crafty Friends,
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. As challenge hostess for the month, I continue to issue the challenges.
Being the third Saturday of the month, it's time for a sketch challenge.
For my card today, I decided to pull out and play with Honey Bee Stamps Bee Mine Stamp set with coordinating die. This was a freebie stamp/die set I received earlier in the year when I placed an order.
For the layers on the front of my card I used a yellow patterned paper from Honey Bee Stamps Over The Rainbow 6 x 6 Paper Pad for the small squares and rectangles. I used Lawn Fawn's Knock on Wood 6 x 6 Paper Pad for the base panel.
I added the sentiment using Honey Bee Stamps Bee-You-Tiful stamp set which I die cut using the Banner Builders die set, this die set never leaves my desk I use it so much! I also added the "Bee" Word sentiment from the Bee-You-Tiful coordinating die set which I added to all 4 corners to the card.
For the inside of my card I added a pop-up card. I used the same Knock on Wood Patterned paper for the yellow panels. I added Lawn Fawn's Pop-up Hello die set for the Hello Pop-up panel in the centre of the card. I finished the pop-up panel by adding letters from Lawn Fawn's Oliver's Alphabet which coordinate with the letters on the pop-up die.
I stamped and die cut two more of the bees and added them to the top portion of the card.
I added the "Happy Beeday" sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Hi Honey stamp set.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
